Limited Lifetime Warranty

This Limited Lifetime Warranty is offered by Story Cabin LLC for the preinstalled quartz movement that is included with your timepiece order.

Story Cabin LLC will replace the quartz movement after the unique serial number etched on the mechanism has been verified. This Limited Lifetime Warranty is only valid through the Warranty Service listing and after the deductible fee for the warranty procedure has been met.

Each client is eligible for one (1) no questions asked replacement within one year of a placed order. Warranty claims after the first instance will require our Warranty Service where validation for the warranty claim is established. The Warranty Service fee is refundable if there is no user-fault by the client after inspection by our care team. The Limited Lifetime Warranty offer has a lifetime maximum of benefit claims of five (5) instances before the deductible is no longer refundable.

The wooden dial or timepiece housing is not part of this warranty. The dial can only be returned or exchanged if there is a manufacturing or engraving defect. Contact our care team if there is a problem with your dial. Proceeding to purchase and placing an order means you agree to the warranty conditions and its concurring changing of policies.

WARRANTY LIMITATIONS

The Story Cabin Limited lifetime guarantee excludes premature failures caused by weather, fire, water, or any other natural disaster. This exclusion also extends to loss, theft, or damage due to misuse. The client may be in breach if the movement has substituted components with, or the addition of, components or accessories not manufactured by Story Cabin. If Story Cabin confirms through standard protocols that the movement has been opened or tampered with, digital documentation and logging will be performed in order to safeguard both the client and Story Cabin.

Not using the correct battery may invalidate this limited lifetime warranty. The movement displays factory etching of "AA/LR6" which means the size and correct type of battery that is compatible with the mechanism. Using rechargeable or any other type of chemistry battery that is not alkaline may damage the movement or cause premature failures. Story Cabin provides the first battery in every timepiece order and also has the correct batteries available for purchase through its Care category.

All Story Cabin timepieces include an accompaniment of seals and symbols that verify authenticity for the Limited Lifetime Warranty to be valid. These exclusive markers and designations have successfully undergone a series of specific final controls by Story Cabin in its own testing center according to its own criteria, in addition to the official CE certification of each movement. Excessive warranty claims establishes patterns of user error or environmental error that is not covered in this Limited Lifetime Warranty.
